Vision and Eye Health Exams

image

Our doctors practice full-scope, comprehensive optometry. Vision is just a part of what we do! Your eyes will also be evaluated for their overall health and function. Various tests to evaluate eye muscle balance, field of vision, depth perception, and color vision, among others, are utilized. Lastly, your total eye health (from the front to back of the eyes) will be evaluated in detail. Our doctors co-manage your health care with primary physicians, internists, endocrinologists, and neurologists, to name a few. This team approach keeps your physicians in the know about how your overall systemic health is reflected in your eyes.

We also offer the latest in dilation-free, digital imaging technology. Optomap allows our doctors to effectively detect and properly manage subtle retinal changes that may be due to any number of systemic diseases that are seen in the eye, as well as diseases that are eye-specific. In most cases, dilation will not be necessary with the Optomap; however, your doctor will decide based on your conditions.

Our doctors recommend and follow the standard of care that everyone should have an eye examination on a yearly basis. Our eyes and vision are precious, and yearly exams are the best way to keep them at their optimal health and visual acuity.
