Dr. Steven Eyler received his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1977. He is a Past President of: the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NBEO), the Association of Regulatory Boards (ARBO), the North Carolina Optometric Society, the North Carolina State Board of Examiners in Optometry, the University City Rotary Club and the Charlotte Basketball Committee. Dr. Eyler is a Fellow in the American Academy of Optometry having served as Co-Chairing of both the Academy's Flom Leadership Program and the Region 2 Admittance Committee.                                Dr. Eyler enjoys most sports as a doctor, a fan and a participant!                                                                                    He has been married to the same lovely lady for 45 years. They have two children and two grandchildren. 

After 45 years of amazing service to our patients, Dr. Eyler retired from full time practice on 9/6/22. He will continue working an extremely limited schedule through May 2023. Dr. Eyler entrusts the care of his patients to our team of highly skilled, professional, and caring doctors.
