Dr. Carlene Solomon was born and raised in Upstate New York. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology and chemistry from LeMoyne College in Syracuse, NY. She then obtained her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2022 from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her optometry rotations throughout the east coast at South Charlotte VA Medical Center (Charlotte, NC), Northeastern Eye Institute (Scranton, PA), and Jamaica Plain VA Medical Center (Boston, MA). After graduation Dr. Solomon completed her residency in Ocular Disease at the W.G. (Bill) Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, NC.
In her free time, Dr. Solomon enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors.
