Dr. Marie Huegel

Dr. Marie Huegel received her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences at Clemson University and her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2021 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. While in optometry school, she was nominated to be part of the executive team of the Gold Key Optometric Honor Society. After optometry school, she completed a residency program in ocular disease with an emphasis on anterior segment at Associated Eye Care in Stillwater, Minnesota. During this time, she discovered her passion for ocular disease, primary care, and urgent care management. One of the most enjoyable parts of her practice is keeping up with the evolving medical technology as well as establishing a relationship with her patients and their families.

Outside of work, Dr. Huegel enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, board games, sports, and spending time outdoors.
